flp.stf - diskette test

SYNOPSIS

sh flp.stf

DESCRIPTION

The flp.stf test executes fdformat(1M) on a diskette to verify the functionality of the diskette driver.

SETUP

Ensure that an error-free blank diskette is inserted into the diskette drive. The flp.stf test is contained within the staf wrapper.

OUTPUT

The flp.stf test outputs a !PASS message if it completes without encountering errors. If an error occurs, the test terminates with an appropriate !ERROR message.

DURATION

The test duration is about 15 minutes.

POSSIBLE CONCURRENT TESTS

This test runs after the cdrom test finishes.
