The following command is the x11perf command that the HCTS uses:
/usr/X11/demo/x11perf -v1.3 -rop GXcopy GXxor -repeat 1 -time 1 -all
The x11perf program runs one or more performance tests and reports how fast an X server can execute the tests.
See x11perf(1x) for more information.
See x11perf(1x) for descriptions of the options used by the HCTS and all other options for x11perf.
To run x11perf, you must configure your Xwindows correctly, start Xwindows, and log on to the system to be tested.
The x11perf tool runs one or more performance tests and reports how fast an X server can execute the tests.
The duration of this test depends on the system configuration, especially the CPU and video adapter type, and on the parameters you specify. For example, this test takes less than 30 minutes using the following parameters on an system equipped with one 3.2 GHz CPU and NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X:
# /usr/X11/demo/x11perf -v1.3 -rop GXcopy GXxor -repeat 1 -time 1 -all
This video test runs first.
# /usr/X11/demo/x11perf -v1.3 -rop GXcopy GXxor -repeat 1 -time 1 -all
