Requirements

• Windows NT 4.0 machine
• CD-ROM drive
• HP DesignJet 700, 1000, CP series or ColorPro CAD printer
• 32 MB RAM minimum; 64 MB RAM optimal
• 25 MB disk space for Program directory where ZEHRaster Plus resides
• 200 MB minimum disk space for the temporary directory where temporary files will be created

Before you install ZEHRaster Plus

1. Set up the HP DesignJet printer.
2. Create a Windows printer for the HP DesignJet printer using the Add Printer... wizard.

To install ZEHRaster Plus

1. Login as Administrator to the machine where you will install ZEHRaster Plus.
2. Insert the ZEHRaster Plus CD into the CD drive of the machine where you want ZEHRaster Plus to run.
3. Browse to the CD's disk1 directory and double-click setup.exe.
4. When the main screen appears, click Install ZEHRaster Plus.
5. Follow the prompts in the installation procedure.

To support multiple Windows printers

ZEHRaster Plus can be installed so that a single installation of software will support multiple Windows printers. You may want to have multiple Windows printers because you have more than one HP printer, or because you want to set up a Windows printer for specific uses (e.g., one sends files in Best mode while another sends files in Draft mode).

Remember: ZEHRaster Plus should be installed only for use with the HP printer it accompanies.

1. Make sure you are logged in as Administrator.
2. Insert the ZEHRaster Plus CD into the CD drive of the machine where ZEHRaster Plus runs.
3. Browse to the CD's disk1 directory and double-click setup.exe.
4. Click Manage Printers.
5. In the Manage Printers dialog, add the printer you want to use. Click Add New Printer, then Next.
6. Select the Windows Printer Name you want to use from the pulldown list.
7. Set the ZEHRaster Plus defaults for this printer.
8. Click Next, then Finish.

ZEHRaster Plus will display the list of available HP printers in a pulldown menu where users will select the printer they want to use.

To run an example file

To run an example file:

1. Run ZEHRaster Plus by selecting it from the Start » Programs » ZEHRaster Plus menu.
2. Browse to the Program directory (which should be displayed automatically) and then to the examples directory.
3. Select zehlogo.tif to print.
4. Click Print.

To register ZEHRaster Plus

You can register ZEHRaster Plus at http://www.zeh.com/zplus.

To uninstall ZEHRaster Plus

You can uninstall ZEHRaster Plus using the Add-Remove Programs function available from Start » Settings » Control Panel » Add-Remove Programs. In the Add/Remove Programs Properties window, select ZEHRaster Plus and click Add/Remove... . ZEHRaster Plus will be uninstalled.
