The Previewer window displays supported image files. It is meant to allow you to view the file to verify that it is the file you want. The window does not reflect the main window's settings (e.g., rotation), so you may see differences between the image as displayed in the Previewer window and as printed.
You can:
The following menu options are available in both the UNIX and Windows NT Previewer windows:
| File Menu | Contains the Print option for printing the displayed file using the print options that have been set on the main window, and an Exit option for closing the window. |
| View Menu | Contains the Status Bar option for closing the message bar at the bottom of the window, which provides more window area for the image to display in. |
| Help Menu | Contains the About... option which displays the version of the Previewer window. |
The UNIX Previewer window also contains two buttons: Stop and Redraw.
| Note |
The UNIX Previewer window does not display CGM files. |
CGM Specifics
For the selected CGM, the white background corresponds to the VDC extents. Data outside the extents, and therefore outside the white background, will not be previewed or printed.
If a CGM with more than one image is selected, only the first image will display and subsequently be printed.
Note
CGM seismic data cannot be previewed, though the remaining data in the image will preview.
Note
The Previewer window does not support transparency in CGMs.
