Configuring the Service Processor for the First Time

User Access: Initial setup administrator

After creating the initial manager-level user, the Initial Configuration Checklist displays allowing you to determine the options you wish to choose for the initial setup of the Service Processor.

The Initial Configuration Checklist is a table listing the SM Console menu options and SM Commands you use to configure each option. Links to the online help provide instructions about how to do so.

This screen only displays after creating the initial manager user; therefore, only the administrator performing the initial configuration or resetting the account via the Operator Panel can access this checklist.
