You can view current status information for a particular component by clicking on a component in the System Status screen.
To quickly locate a specific component you can first use the pulldown menus in the top right corner of the image to locate specific component types, for example, CD-ROM drives, CPUs, disk drives, fans, etc. and then click the specific component for additional information.

The name of the component, its current status, and a description of the component type appear at the top of the screen.

The following buttons display beneath the component name and description:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| # Uncleared Events | The number of uncleared events for this component. |
| Component Location | Click this button to return to the System Status screen. The selected component in the system image flashes so you can easily locate it. |
| Troubleshooting Tips | Launches the help system from which you can access troubleshooting information. |
The Component Detail table provides the following set of readings for sensors associated with this component:
| Reading | Description |
|---|---|
| Status | Current status of this sensor. |
| Current Value | Current value and unit of measure for each reading. |
| Nominal Value | A predetermined typical value for each reading (if applicable). |
| Warning Low/High Threshold | The value separating the normal and warning ranges for this reading for this component. Can have both low and high in relation to nominal. |
| Critical Low/High Threshold | The value separating the warning and critical ranges for this reading for this component. Can have both low and high in relation to nominal. |
