BIOS is an acronym for basic input/output system. The BIOS is built-in software that determines what a system can do without accessing programs from a disk.

Troubleshooting the BIOS Component

The Boot into BIOS Setup option stops the boot process allowing you to modify the BIOS settings from the platform console.
