CAUTION: Do not attempt to service the system except as explained in the documentation. Only trained service technicians should remove the system cover to access any of the internal components. See the safety information that came with your server before you attempt to service the system.

Software errors can often appear to be hardware malfunctions. If you experience a problem that appears hardware-related, also consider these software issues:

The software installation package transfers the appropriate program files to the system's hard drive. See to the installation procedures in your server documentation and the configuration information in the online help for details about how to set up and configure the software and operating system, in order to successfully run the systems management software.

Ensure that the operating environment is set up to accommodate the programs you use. If you change the parameters of the system's operating environment, you might affect the successful operation of the programs. After you modify the operating environment, you might have to reinstall a program that no longer runs properly.
