Troubleshooting: Components with an Unknown Type

Almost all events that the Service Processor generates are based on known component types. However, it is possible for other types of events to be generated. If an event with an unknown component type or event type is generated, it displays on the Events Screen with the following attributes:

The mouse-over text for the component displays the name of the unknown component type.
The icon represents an unknown type.
The user cannot obtain component details.
