The toolbar is located at the top portion of the SM Console.

The following buttons are available from the toolbar:

Platform Operating System | Represents the current state of the platform operating system. As the state changes, the image changes. Moving your mouse over this button displays the current state in the help panel. Click this button to display the Platform Operations screen. |

Locate Light | Shows the current state of the locate light on the front panel of the machine. Click this button to toggle the state of the light. This button and the locate light component on the System Status screen reflect the new state. |

System Status | Indicates the current status of the system: normal, warning, or critical. Click this button to display the System Status screen. |

System Events | Flashes when new system events have occurred since you logged in or since you last displayed the System Events screen. Click this button to display the System Events screen. |

Log Out | Enables you to log out of the system. Moving your mouse over this button displays the access group and username of the current user in the help panel. |

Help | Invokes the online help system. (You must configure your mounted file system for the Service Processor in order to access to the online help system.) |
