Getting Started with the Sun StorEdge Diagnostic Expert

After you have finished installing the Sun StorEdge Diagnostic Expert, perform the following tasks:

1. Set the environment variables PATH and MANPATH.
2. Point your web browser to http://serverName:8088, where serverName is the machine on which you start the application.
   Note: If the web server is in secure mode, point your web browser to https://serverName:8443.
3. Add mandatory site properties using the Administration screen.
4. Add devices to the configuration for monitoring. Refer to Add Devices.
5. Set up notification services. Refer to Notification.
