Devices which hold the bus in excess of about 590uS uS cause SunOS to panic on the instruction that is actually performing the transfer. INSTALL: as root: mv /sys/sun4/OBJ/trap.o /sys/sun4/OBJ/trap.o.FCS cp sun4/trap.o /sys/sun4/OBJ/trap.o chmod 644 /sys/sun4/OBJ/trap.o a new kernel will need to be built and installed.
