Searching works fine, but when you double click on a document, nothing happens (no error message). 1151734: The SunSolve 2.1.1 SearchTool cannot display PostScript documents when running on SunOS 5.3 (Solaris 2.2, s1093). Searching works fine, and if the workaround from bug 1151733 is applied, you can also display text documents (bugs, patch READMEs, and so on). However, if you try to display a PostScript document (such as an STB), a MultiView window appears (very) briefly, and sometimes you can also (again, very briefly) see a pop-up window with some text complaining about the NeWS display: ... Special Install Instructions: ----------------------------- Once the patch has been installed, you will need to change the SearchTool properties to use the "default" viewer. To change the properties, SELECT the properties button, and choose the "viewer" properties. Change all three viewers to "DEFAULT". You may need to restart SunSolve after changing these properties.
