Patch requests the hostname up to three times. Patch Installation Instructions: ------------------------------- This patch should be installed over PC-NFS 5.1d only. On the system where PC-NFS is installed, exit MS-Windows or start a Windows DOS box. Copy the 10221502.exe file to a temporary directory and execute "10221502." This will uncompress two files, readme.txt, and net.exe to the temporary directory. Save the original copy of net.exe and then copy the new file to the PC-NFS directory. Reboot the system for the changes to take effect. Example: Select the drive where PC-NFS is installed: C: Copy the patch to a temporary directory: COPY A:10221502.EXE C:\TEMP\10221502.EXE Extract the patch files from 10221502.EXE: \TEMP\10221502 Save the original file. COPY \NFS\NET.EXE \NFS\NET.SAV Copy the new NET.EXE into the NFS directory. COPY \TEMP\NET.EXE \NFS Reboot the PC. Installation Notes: All drive letter and directory name references are PC-NFS 5.1d defaults. If you have installed PC-NFS or the patch file on a different drive, or in a different directory, substitute your drive and directory names in the example commands above.
