Use daytime protocol for determining time. Other bugs, fixed by previous versions of this patch, are now integrated in prerequisite patch 103519-02. Patch Installation Instructions: This patch may be installed over PC-NFS 5.1d only. On the system where PC-NFS is installed, exit MS-Windows or start a Windows DOS box. Copy the 10345602.exe file to a temporary directory and execute "10345602." This will uncompress six files, readme.txt, net.exe, mt.exe, pcnfs.drv, rdate.exe, and rdate.mo, to the temporary directory. Save the original copies of these files and then copy the new files to the proper directory. Reboot the system for the changes to take effect. Example: Select the drive where PC-NFS is installed: C: Copy the patch to a temporary directory: COPY A:10345602.EXE C:\TEMP\10345602.EXE Extract the patch files from 10345602.EXE: \TEMP\10345602 Save the original files. COPY \NFS\NET.EXE \NFS\NET.SAV COPY \NFS\MT.EXE \NFS\MT.SAV COPY \NFS\PCNFS.DRV \NFS\PCNFSDRV.SAV COPY \NFS\RDATE.EXE \NFS\RDATE.SAV COPY \NFS\USA\RDATE.MO \NFS\USA\RDATE.MSV Copy the new NET.EXE into the NFS directory. COPY \TEMP\NET.EXE \NFS Copy the new MT.EXE into the NFS directory, COPY \TEMP\MT.EXE C:\NFS Copy the new PCNFS.DRV into the NFS and WINDOWS\SYSTEM directories COPY \TEMP\PCNFS.DRV C:\NFS COPY \TEMP\PCNFS.DRV C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM COPY the new RDATE.EXE into the NFS directory. COPY \TEMP\RDATE.EXE c:\NFS COPY the new RDATE.MO into the NFS\USA directory. COPY \TEMP\RDATE.MO c:\NFS\USA Reboot the PC. Installation Notes: All drive letter and directory name references are PC-NFS 5.1d defaults. If you have installed PC-NFS or the patch file on a different drive, or in a different directory, substitute your drive and directory names in the example commands above.
