Arrows are not grayed out if the list box is disabled. MS-Office toolbar does not repaint properly when brought to the front. Fixed several untranslated messages in i18n. .avi files are grainy on 24-bit frame buffer. Fixes for PHOTO-PAINT. PowerPoint Slide Sorter not working properly. Unable to create and display CCmail message or change color of black screen. Problems fixed in 103586-02 4006460 - Lines drawn in Microsoft PowerPoint do not print correctly. 1252342 - Paradox will UEA when you exit after a SQL query. 1251567 - Wabi will no longer get an error when the SUNWwabi is mounted from a remote system. 1252351 - Windows Socket API gethostname does not return a error code (WSAEFAULT) on a error condition. A temporary file with no slash causes some applications to crash. Applications with a scrollable list box will UEA if the list box is not visible. Some applications keep allocating memory until there is no more memory; then they cause Wabi to UEA. Applications that try to lock the same area of a file more than once will no longer cause Wabi to UEA. Wabi Assertion failure "Goal == 100". In MS-Exchange an italic font is displayed where a roman font should be. This problem could also cause other font attributes to be incorrect. In MS-Exchange a UEA occurs when attempting to look at "Organization Folder Tab", and the "Member Of Folder Tab". Saving a large file with variety of fonts causes crash. In MS-Exchange personal distribution list, New Entry when typing in the name of the new entry appears irregular and does not display correctly until the enter button is hit. Inserting the SUN logo in a document causes crash. Stale file handles cause Wabi to assert when closing directories. When editing in 123 the cursor stays at the end of the line. In some applications a NULL string is passed to TextOut, this will cause Wabi to get a segmentation fault. Wabi hangs when PowerBuilder is displaying the App and lib painters. Support for 24-bit color. In MS-Exchange, boxes drawn with one pixel border are not completely removed until a refresh. When importing a Paintbrush document into MS-Exchange, Wabi will UEA. Wabi will no longer attempt to install the now unnecessary kernel driver on systems running Solaris 2.6. Problems fixed in 103586-01 1252433 - When installing an unlisted printer, selecting the directory where the drivers are and hitting OK will cause nothing to happen. It should insert the directory into the previous window and go away. 1245128 - Running a certain Solaris program that connects to the Wabi font server will cause wabifs to core dump. 1252347 - When opening a Microsoft Word file containing links to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, Microsoft Word loses activation. The cursor and status bar do not update until the mouse is moved. 1252432 - The Postscript file word wrap setting is ignored when printing. 1252431 - A crash occurs when a .bmp file is exported as a .ply, 16- color VGS (Runtime Player) file. 1252430 - Strings containing "\t" (tab) are not displayed by MessageBox. 1252365 - When Wabi is running on a Sun and remote displayed to non-Sun displays which have a Compose key, the Compose key processing is disabled. 1251567 - Wabi 2.2 does not allow an NFS mount /opt/SUNWwabi from a file server. PowerBuilder - loop condition failure. The Drives list box does not display the available drives under the Install Options From & To in the Choose Source Directory window. There is just a gray blank area. When installing the application Vista Plus, it fails with an invalid error message stating that you must have permission to create the directory. Project Workbench - UEA when resizing windows. Project Workbench - Illegal Function call when starting tutorial. Project Workbench - Cannot resize columns vertically; they will snap back. Project Workbench - Attempting to print yields the message that you are out of resources. Third party application crash. Third party application - The Colors property makes the characters unreadable. Third party application - UEA when installing from local disk. Approach generates an internal error and Wabi UEA. Format string "\n\n" does not work in MessageBox. The performance of the MulDiv API call, prevalent, e.g., in the Microsoft PowerPoint slide sorter, has been improved. The edit box in Lotus 1-2-3 is clipping the top of the characters. Starting wabi -s path/winword causes Wabi to core dump when opening a text file. Starting Microsoft Word with the wabi -s option will sometimes get a segmentation fault. Third party application will not install. Cannot find a file with a "." at the end. Third party application will not find index -- Unimplemented int21 call. When Wabi is started in a CDE workspace other than the current one, e.g., when CDE restores Wabi from a previous session, windows may become hidden (unmapped) on the desktop when they should be visible. This problem can occur in CDE 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 but not in CDE 1.1. Wabi 2.2 performance - in some cases Wabi 2.2 is slower than 2.1. Patch Installation Instructions: -------------------------------- Refer to the Install.info file for instructions on using the generic 'installpatch' and 'backoutpatch' scripts provided with each patch. Any other special or non-generic installation instructions should be described below as special instructions. "None of the packages included in patch 103586-03 are installed on this system." You can either edit the file /var/sadm/pkg/SUNWwabi/pkginfo and remove ",REV=6" from the line VERSION=. Before: VERSION=2.2,REV=6 After: VERSION=2.2 Or, if you have a previous release of Wabi 2.2. You can remove the SUNWwabi package, install the previous version and then the Wabi 2.2 Rev D patch package.
