Patch Installation Instructions: Note: bug 1183969 is not a fatal error. It is only a warning message informing the user that 123 was not allowed to modify the date and time stamp of an NFS file because the current user is not the owner of the file. The file contents are still modified correctly and the error message can be cleared by the user. Solaris 2.x does not allow file stamps to be modified by non-owners and the error is returned to the application when 123 attempts to set the new attributes. Apply this patch only if the user does not want Lotus 123 to report the error. On the system where PC-NFS is installed, exit MS-Windows. Copy the 10390201.exe file to a temporary directory and execute "10390201." This will create three new files in the temporary directory. Run "sunpatch drive:\path" where drive and path specify the location of PC-NFS 5.1d. Example: Select the drive where PC-NFS is installed: C: Copy the patch to a temporary directory: COPY A:10390201.EXE C:\TEMP\10390201.EXE Extract the patch files from 10390201.EXE \TEMP\10390201 Execute the patch batch file: \TEMP\SUNPATCH C:\NFS Installation Notes: All drive letter and directory name references are PC-NFS defaults. If you have installed PC-NFS or the patch file on a different drive, or in a different directory, substitute your drive and directory names in the example commands above.
