On these drives he has various directories with names formed by 8 bits character, like "gráfics" or "añejo", etc... The problem is that each time that he accessed to these directories, Pc-CacheFs copy the structure of the directory on c:\cfs.sys\drive\..., added a number to the directory name. For example, The directory d:\gráfics, appeared on c:\cfs.sys\d: gráfics, gráfics~1 gráfics~2 gráfics~3 4068345: Using Hummingbird's Maestro NFS file attributes are not returned properly. Permissions cannot be seen or changed at directory Levels: Cannot see or change permissions after drilling down a directory on a network drive. chmod command does not work. Installation: *** Please note that this is a WIN95 only patch. **** This patch is packaged as a self-extracting compressed file (10535002.exe). It must be installed from WIN95. The setup program backs up the original file(s). It then installs the new file(s) and a patch uninstall utility. To install, download 10535002.exe to a temporary directory on the PC. In Win95 , select "Run" from the "Start" menu. Enter the path and patch filename (Example: c:\temp\10535002) then select "OK". The patch will uncompress and start the setup program automatically. Follow the setup program prompts to complete the patch installation. Restart Win. Patch Removal Instructions: In Win95 click "Start". Then select "Programs", "Patch 105350-02" and click on "uninstallSHIELD". WARNING - The patch uninstall program restarts Win95 at the end of the uninstall process. Installation Notes: All drive letter and directory name references are Solstice Network Client defaults. If you have installed Solstice Network Client or the patch file on a different drive, or in a different directory, substitute your drive and directory names in the example commands above.
