Problem Description:

The patch description and the readme.txt files for patch 106526-01 do not
contain sufficient information on the location of the files that need to 
be manually copied to the cd image of snc 3.2.  Running the self extracting
10652601.exe file puts the two files Shared95.Z and _Setup32.lib in the 
pc's c:\windows\system directory , this is unknown to the person running the
patch executable since it blows by at lightning speed.  In the end, the 
customer see's a directory with the patch number and 5 files but neither of 
two that are specified in the readme.  Customer has no idea where these files
reside or if they were even included with the patch.

4135055 Customer is installing SNC 3.1.1 (or SNC 3.2) with 3COM 3C905 Fast Etherlink XL network 
card on WIN95 Rev B (OSR2).
When SNC 3.1.1 (or SNC 3.2) reaches "configuring network components" stage in install
and hangs. 
Driver revision for network card is (3.1).
Patch Installation Instructions:

 This patch is for Windows 95 and NT.
 This patch is packaged as a self-extracting compressed file(10652602.exe).  
 The setup program backs up the original 
 file(s).  It then installs the new file(s) and a patch uninstall utility. 

 To install, download 10652602.exe to a temporary directory on the PC.  
 
 In Windows, select "Run" from the "Start" menu.  Enter the path and 
 patch filename (Example: c:\temp\10652602.exe) then select "OK".  

 The patch will uncompress and start the setup program automatically.  
 Follow the setup program prompts to complete the patch installation.  

	************* IMPORTANT *********************

NOTE: to use this patch you must copy the snc3.2 CD image on to a filesystem
(local or remote). This patch will copy the files (shared95.z & _setup32.lib) to your 
\windows\system directory. They user MUST copy these files to the directory that now 
contains the CD image before the install can be done properly.
CD's are available upon request until this fix can be slipped into the
manufacturing run.

Patch Removal Instructions:

 In Windows , click "Start".  Then select "Programs", "Patch 106526-02"
 and click on "uninstallSHIELD".  

 WARNING - The patch uninstall program restarts Windows at the end
           of the uninstall process.
 

Installation Notes:

 All drive letter and directory name references are Solstice Network Client
 defaults. If you have installed Solstice Network Client or the patch file on 
 a different drive, or in a different directory, substitute your 
 drive and directory names in the example commands above.
