Also, FTP shutdown messages feature now functions properly in English. - Sun WebServer(TM) 2.0 - The command-line utility "htservlet reload" and the Administration Console operation Reload Servlets successfully unload and reload servlets or the classes they depend upon. Previously, the reload operation occasionally failed by overlooking classes in JAR files required by reloaded servlets. - The CGI script that implements HTTP1.1 PUT operations (publish_script) is found by the web server in /cgi-bin/publish_script, where it is installed. Previously, this script had to move to /sws-cgi-bin in order for PUT requests to operate properly. - The -z option (specifies that the user is administrator) is no longer optional in the command-line utility hthost. Unless hthost is run as root, when -z is not specified or when -z is used with the incorrect password, the add, delete, enable, disable, and list subcommands do not function. - Tables in the Server Web Sites List, Server IP/Ports, Site Servlets Manager, and Server and Site Servlets Log and CGI Log screens sort properly. - Sun Directory Services 3.1 - You can run dsadmintool even when you install SunDS on a host with no other components (except JDK, HotJava and SUNWisp). - Host Configuration 1.0 - The Host Configuration tool hcspm now properly restarts all the services listed in /etc/opt/SUNWisp/hc/hcspm.conf. Patch Installation Instructions: -------------------------------- Please refer to the Installation Requirements chapter in the Solaris for ISPs Administration Guide or README.first for a list of patches required with this software. You can use the generic 'patchadd' command to install the packages in this patch. Disregard the warning message stating that 'patchadd' or 'patchrm' is being used to install or remove a patch; this message is part of the normal procedure for installing or removing a patch on a Solaris 2.6 system. On a Solaris 2.6 system, any patch can be installed using 'patchadd' and removed by using 'patchrm'. You do not need to remove the old packages before installing the new ones. Note: | The patch installs only the relevant portions of the patch on | systems that have been configured in a distributed server model. | The patch installation process looks for existing packages and does | not install the patched portions if the original package is not | present. Special Install Instructions: ----------------------------- To install using the 'patchadd' command: 1. Become superuser. % su 2. Change (cd) to the directory where you unpacked the archives. For example: Note: | The packages are located in the directory where you unpacked the | archives; however, the actual directory names may vary. # cd /tmp 3. For additional information on installing or backing out this patch, command descriptions, and a explanation of installation error messages, refer to 'Install.info' located in the same directory as this README. If you are running Solaris for ISPs 1.0 on multiple machines, installing this patch on one server does not apply the patch to all of the servers on which Solaris for ISPs 1.0 is installed. Therefore, you must apply this patch directly to each machine running any of the Solaris for ISPs 1.0 components using the instructions provided in this README. The patch installs only the relevant portions of the patch on systems that have been configured in a distributed server model. The patch installation process looks for existing packages and does not install the patched portions if the original package is not present.
