Configuring Sun StorEdge L7 and StorEdge L8 Tape Libraries in Sun StorEdge(TM) 
Enterprise Backup software (EBS) 7.0
 
Chapter 3 of the Sun StorEdge EBS Version 7 Installation Guide covers the 
procedure for installing and configuring an "Autochanger" device with EBS.
As noted in the documentation, the "jbconfig" command is used to perform the
configuration.  Both the StorEdge L7 and StorEdge L8 tape libraries can be
ordered with an optional bar code reader (i.e., Option# SG-XBARCODE-L7 or 
SG-XBARCODE-L8).  With this patch installed, Sun StorEdge EBS will be able
to accurately detect the presence of a barcode reader and set the appropriate
defaults during jukebox configuration.  After the installation of this patch
it may be necessary to re-run "jbconfig;" this will be true, if you have a 
StorEdge L7 or L8 tape library with the barcode reader option.
