For Solaris 2.0-2.6 releases, refer to the Install.info file and/or
the README within the patch for instructions on using the generic
'installpatch' and 'backoutpatch' scripts provided with each patch.
 
For Solaris 7-9 releases, refer to the man pages for instructions
on using 'patchadd' and 'patchrm' scripts provided with Solaris.
Any other special or non-generic installation instructions should be
described below as special instructions.  The following example
installs a patch to a standalone machine:
 
       example# patchadd /var/spool/patch/104945-02
 
The following example removes a patch from a standalone system:
 
       example# patchrm 104945-02

Special Install Instructions:

NOTE 1:  For diskless client users:
         Run the following commands on each and every diskless client that receives
         the patch via the shared /usr:
 
               /usr/sadm/bin/smcregister library -n VUserMgrLib.jar \
               /usr/sadm/lib/usermgr/VUserMgrLib.jar \
               /usr/sadm/lib/usermgr/VUserMgrLib_classlist.txt ALL
 
               /etc/init.d/init.wbem stop
               /etc/init.d/init.wbem start.
 
NOTE 2: In order to get the complete fix for bugid 4914834, patch 114193-16 (or greater)
        must also be installed on the target system.
 
NOTE 3: In order to get the complete fix for bugid 4946973, patch 114193-19 (or greater)
        must also be installed on the target system.
 
        This patch fixes the Name error in Solaris Management Console (SMC).  When managing
        Solaris 8 from a Solaris 9 client, patch 112945-28 is required.
 
NOTE 4: In order to get the complete fix for bugid 4997883, patch 114193-20 (or greater)
        must also be installed on the target system.
