Problem Description:

5047837 fix for 4871277 causes unadorned summary lines in vmstat
4871277 automount and friends make vmstat spit State change messages

4339703 vmstat -c output can not be redirected unless a count is specified

4404259 *vmstat* suffers from integer overflow
