PATCH PRE-INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

- Install/upgrade Sun StorEdge 6130 Data Host Software version 1.1 before attempting
  to apply the patch into the system.

Patch Installation Instructions:
--------------------------------
 
On your Management Station, perform the following steps
 
1) Apply the firmware into the Management Station
    a) Go to your update patch location
       	cd <patch location>
 
    b) Update the patch
   	./install.sh
 
2) Upgrade your 6130 arrays with the new firmware
 
   a) cd <location of your Sun StorEdge 6130 Host Software Version 1.1>
 
   b) To upgrade,
      ./upgrade [-n]
 
   c) Answer 'y' to 'Do you want to continue'.
 
   d) Answer 'n' to 'Sun StorEdge 6130 Management Host Software'
 
   e) Answer 'y' to 'Sun StorEdge 6130 Array Firmware'
 
   f) Answer 'y' to 'Is this correct?'
 
   g) You will be presented with a list of arrays that are out of date and
      the components that are out of date.
 
   h) Select the arrays to upgrade with either a space-seperated list of the
      numerals used to identify them (e.g., "1 3"), or the word 'all'. 
      Upgrades of each component will take a few minutes each.  Disk I/O 
      must be quiesced prior to disk drive firmware updates. 
 
   i) Response to all warning/error displayed in Storade to get arrays' health
      back to OK.

  - Before uninstall Sun Storade 6130 Management Host Software. Please remove
    this firmware out of your systems.
 
    a) Go to your update patch location
        cd <patch location>
 
    b) Remove the patch
        ./uninstall.sh
