Patch Installation Instructions:

Refer to the man pages for instructions on using 'patchadd' and 'patchrm'
scripts provided with Solaris.  Any other special or non-generic
installation instructions should be described below as special
instructions.  The following example installs a patch to a standalone
machine:
 
	example# patchadd /var/spool/patch/104945-02
 
The following example removes a patch from a standalone system:
 
	example# patchrm 104945-02
 
For additional examples please see the appropriate man pages.

Special Install Instructions:
-----------------------------
 
NOTE 1:  For the changes for bugid 6278049 (mozilla startup slow) to take
         effect , stop the apoc daemon after the patch has been applied.  To
         stop the apoc daemon, login as root and run the following command:
 
         # /usr/lib/apoc/apocd stop
 
         The apoc deamon will automatically restart (via. inetd) when clients
         need it.
 
NOTE 2:  For the changes for bugid 6293945 (login & mozilla startup
         performance bad) to take effect, restart the apoc daemon after the
         patch has been applied. To restart the apoc daemon, login as root
         and run the following command:
 
         # /usr/lib/apoc/apocd restart
 
NOTE 3:  To get the complete fix for bugid 6293945 (login & mozilla startup
         performance bad), please also install the following patches:
 
         119546-03 (or greater)  APOC Configuration Agent Patch
         120458-01 (or greater)  GNOME Configuration Patch
 
NOTE 4:  To get the complete fixes for bugids 6363692 (minotaur apoc client
         packages as patches) and 6406269 (limited list of attributes
         supported by placeholder feature), please also install the
         following patch:
 
         119546-05 (or greater)  APOC Configuration Agent Patch
