Steps to install the Patch -------------------------- 1. Transfer the scs-2.2.1.172.tgz file to a known location on the Control Station via scp, ftp, or other means. 2. Become the root user on the Control Station. 3. Extract the scs-2.2.1.172.tgz file by executing the tar command as below: # tar xvzf scs-2.2.1.172.tgz You should now see a directory named scs-2.2.1.172 4. Enter the install directory and invoke the installer as below: # cd ./scs-2.2.1.172 # sh install/install 5. Tab through the SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT, and when prompted Accept (A) / Decline (D) enter 'A' to accept the license agreement.
