Problem Description:

6238818 traceroute -s always reports an error
 
(from 121012-01)
 
6290623 buffer overflow in traceroute when using 10 or more gateways (-g option)
6290611 traceroute accesses invalid memory when -s is used with bogus address
6291147 traceroute has off-by-one error when counting gateways resulting in a buffer overflow.
6291879 traceroute prints spurious "unknown host" message when gateway limit exceeded.
6298211 traceroute sometimes reports the wrong gateway host as unresolvable
6298351 traceroute sends trace packet to invalid gateways unless probe_all is set

For Solaris 7-10 releases, refer to the man pages for instructions
on using 'patchadd' and 'patchrm' scripts provided with Solaris.
Any other special or non-generic installation instructions should be

installs a patch to a standalone machine:
 
       example# patchadd /var/spool/patch/104945-02
 
The following example removes a patch from a standalone system:
