Special Install Instructions: ----------------------------- The master server should be stopped before the patch install using /server/bin/cr_server stop After the patch is installed, the master server may be restarted using /server/bin/cr_server start When SPS 5.1 and 5.2 Are Installed On The Same System ----------------------------------------------------- Please note that you may get the following messages from patchrm(1M) when uninstalling this patch on a system that has the N1SPS 5.1 MS/CLI installed in addition to the 5.2 version of the product. These messages are expected and you can safely ignore them as long as the patch removal is confirmed with a message similar to: Patch 122990-01 has been backed out. Executing postbackout script... When installing this patch, the corresponding CLUI patch, 122992, should also be applied to all systems where the CLUI is installed. Error message displayed when creating host or updating a RA/LD -------------------------------------------------------------- After applying this patch it is possible to receive the harmless error message: Unable to find upgrade packages to upgrade "Remote agent" on host "" from version "5.2" to "5.2.2". (042018) This message can be safely ignored and will be addressed in a future revision. The message is displayed after the patch is installed and executing any of the steps... a. Creating a host and keeping the "update or prepare host with most recent system updates or services" tickbox checked. b. Issuing a 'host upgrade' via hosts > details > "update remote agent..." c. Issuing a node.au.run from the CLUI (and checking results with node.au.lo) These commands would be used to upgrade RA and LD nodes to 5.2.2. This patch does not change the RA or LD nodes so consequently this operation is not required or supported. When one of the commands is issued, the MS attempts to find "upgrade packages" which fails producing the error. This will be addressed in future versions.
