B: Updating the StorEdge5210 NAS RAID controller firmware

This procedure may be needed to update an newly replaced LSI Raid
card in the case of failure to the Bios/Firmware revision that was
running on the system prior to the failure.

NOTE: Do not perform this procedure when a drive has failed and is
      in the rebuilding state.

1) On a functioning 5210 system, enable ftp (load ftpd from the command line).

2) On a networked client system, start and ftp session to the system.
IE; ftp 10.0.8.2, then use the username and password for the admin user to login in.

   perform the following operations:

create the directory "firmware" in /cvol/
create the directory "mrc" in /cvol/firmware/
ftp the file verdeGEN.rom to /cvol/firmware/mrc/

3) Reboot the 5210. When the system restarts, it will update
the RAID controller firmware, and then restart again. The
front panel display indicates progress during the update.
Successful completion should be verified by checking the
system log after the system completes the second restart.
